Webcam Video Capture 3.71

Webcam Video Capture Editor's Review

You probably expect this to be a webcam related software. As soon as I started testing it, I discovered that the word 'webcam' in the name is just part of the name and doesn't reflect any of this program's features. This program can record a selected region of the screen, a selected window, or the entire screen. While testing it, I discovered that between the 'Selected Window' and the 'Selected Region' there is almost no difference. In fact, 'Selected Window' mode is just a 'Selected region' with the size of that window. If you move the window, the program will keep recording that area, even if the window is gone.

I recorded something off my screen. When I tried to see the clip, I noticed that the frame rate was low. By default, it's set to 10 frames per second, but it looked like it was even lower in the video. The next step was to modify the frame rate. I couldn't see any changes at 29 frames per second, so I changed it to 50 frames per second, but the frame rate for the new created video was the same as in the first movie.

Drawbacks / flaws: Low frame rate. It doesn't have many features.

In conclusion: I see no reason to pay for a software like this. I don't recommend you to download this software
